Here is fun game: Let’s call it, “Bring It Back”. This is a game for us long-standing park goers, foodies or folks who just plain miss their favorite item on a menu.
Yes, we understand that Disney is always trying to keep their menus fresh and diverse and that each new chef has his own idea of what should be offered on the menu…but as some point…they should ask the people. We are the people. So now is your chance to speak up and tell us what you miss from your favorite menus.
We the people want you to bring back:
The beef barley soup at Cinderella’s Royal Table. This soup made a brief appearance back on the menu in June of 2011 then was gone by July. It’s delicious and there’s nothing else like it in the parks-bring it back!
The ham sandwich with broccoli slaw at The Columbia Inn Harbor House: It was delicious…hearty whole grain bread with delicious ham and topped with broccoli slaw (a great alternative to mayo!). This was my favorite sandwich of all time and now it’s gone. There is only tuna or a veggie sandwich with hummus. What’s up with that? Bring back the ham!
The shallot butter for the filet at Narcoosees. I will go on the record saying that while this is my favorite restaurant, I sometimes find it annoying that they can change their menu items daily. One thing I firmly believe should always be available is the shallot butter. There is no way to describe what the shallot butter does to the filet, but it certainly puts the wine sauce to shame. Bring it back!

Disney Food Report Tip: While we like to pretend we run the food universe, we really have no pull at all. Don’t get your hopes up that our demands will be met–but its a fun game to play in the meantime!
