Mickey Milk Chocolate Bar – Feeding the Tween

It may not be the best candy bar in the world, but sometimes you just need a little chocolate to tide you over or keep you going during the late afternoon.

On a recent trip, my oldest needed a quick shot to keep him going. He chose a perfectly simple candy bar to do the trick. He thought it was a lot sweeter than a Hershey’s bar, but he didn’t complain after the second bite. If you are parenting a tween, sometimes it is easier to let them win a smaller food battle, right?

You can find these at most shops across Walt Disney World and Disneyland. We happened to pick his one up at the Pro Shop at the Buena Vista Golf Course. Nobody in my family plays golf; we were there doing research!

Since the Mickey Milk Chocolate Bar is under $2.00, it is not a good choice to use a snack credit if you are on the Disney Dining Plan.

George writes here and at Imaginerding, where he focuses on Disney books and theme parkeology. He is also a travel agent and you can email him at George@pixievacations.com for free vacation planning and help booking your next Disney vacation.
