Only in Disney World do you see parents begging their children to eat cotton candy at midnight and knowingly loading them up with caffeine at all hours of the day. Determined to see the fireworks and the last parade make all your parenting principles go out the window: It is vacation after all!
When the sugar buzz dies down and you’re finally tucked in between the sheets the last thing you’re thinking about is breakfast. Well, maybe you should be!
If you don’t have a breakfast scheduled, or need to take medication first thing in the morning that requires food in your stomach save yourself the frustration and plan ahead! Put your snack credits to use for breakfast items such as muffins, danishes, even a piece of fruit. Pick up your breakfast snack from the parks on your way out, or even at your resort food locations. Put it in the mini fridge in your room and voilia, no morning breakfast drama!
Having a snack on hand in your room can come in handy for those mid-afternoon meltdowns, must-have-something-to-eat-now-or-I-can’t-go-on moments or mornings you have to get something in your stomach before you get on the bus.
Be sure to take inventory and see what the best use of your snack credit would be. Some of the portion sizes on the pastries are big enough to share, especially for children and when it comes down to a $4 muffin or a $.60 banana, you should probably pay out of pocket for the banana.
