Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating National Cotton-Top Tamarin day on August 15th. The Kusafiri Bakery menu features the cotton-top tamarin cupcake. The dark chocolate cupcake is topped with a large swirl of butter cream frosting. It is decorated with chocolate shavings to create the tamarin’s mane. Then the tamarin’s face is created using a candy mold to blend white and dark chocolate into the face. The face is then stuck into the top of the cupcake with a baking stick. The cupcakes sell for $3.99. Guests on Disney’s Dining Plan can also redeem one snack credit for this decadent cupcake. – Kristin
